The Orangeburg Massacre- ever hear of it? Neither had I. No, it didn't happen in apartheid South Africa, more like racist South Carolina circa 1968. It involved the unjustified shooting and deaths of students on campus, not unlike Kent State some two years later. Except these students were black, and their unwarranted deaths were not celebrated in the national media.
