Not stupid because we didn't understand exactly how the banks were conducting business, it was made purposely too complex for us to understand. No one can be faulted for that. Stupid because once they were finally exposed, finally exposed bare and naked and clean for all to see just how longingly and lovingly they were fucking us up the ass each and every day, we chose to... 

1.) Allow them to be rescued with our money,

2.) Demand no accountability whatsoever,

3.) Blame exactly who they told us to blame ("poor people, teachers and immigrants"), and-

4.) Smile as we continue to let them fuck us each and every day, to this very day!

The beauty and genius that was Jon Stewart and The Daily Show was that they broke down complex (and often boring) social, political and economic issues into logical, easy to understand bits and pieces that were... goddamn funny to boot. The Big Short does much the same, and does so brilliantly, covering the financial meltdown that happened under our watch (Anthony Bourdain explains CDOs, Salena Gomez breaks down synthetic CDOs)- and that continues unpunished and unrepentant, however disguised, as you read this.

But, hey, it's Christmas- grab the eggnog and a warm blanket; you can kick the dog when you're hungover after New Year's. 

PS- Oh... And when someone with a big, self satisfied smirk demands you explain just how the government could ever possibly keep a secret as overwhelmingly HUGE as UFO's under lock and key for soooo damn long- kindly just remind them that... it's all so easy, when we're the ones who do it for them; aliens are small potatoes indeed, compared to knowingly letting them rob us blind each and every day of our hard earned $$$...

This is exactly what is needed- serious investigation, scientific investigation of whatever the supposed evidence or data... be it film, video, radar, radiation readings, flight recordings, etc- and let the chips fall where they may. How can a US astronaut, one of the original Right Stuff astronauts no less, claim outright that a UFO landed in a lake bed where he was working, that it was filmed and then given to the Air Force, only to never be seen again- how can he say that without investigation of his "allegation," or... his sanity???

Yeah, the above video's a sham; there are fakes a plenty out there, crazies a plenty too- No freakin' doubt! But if only .001% of all the evidence presented is of extraterrestrial or interdimensional origin- there goes the whole ball of denial right down the tubes. I'll take those odds anytime!

Like errant children denying their guilt when caught red handed with fireworks, so go our official investigative agencies when it involves those close to their realm. 

The video below concerning TWA Fl# 800 documents a step by step accounting of how government agencies supposedly under public scrutiny can nevertheless coerce witnesses, subvert investigatory procedures, and suppress and alter facts involving investigations where the evidence is readily available, and explainable. And yet, people continue to insist that the government could never keep a secret as large as UFO's under wraps.

Ask Mr. Snowden about what does, and (and more importantly, these days) doesn't happen when the truth gets out. Then ask why so few dare to risk it all. Does it really take any stretch of the imagination as to what investigative and governmental abuses and aberrations can occur concerning true phenomena when not under the microscope of the public eye? Law enforcement that threatens both livelihood (careers, pensions, grants) and well being (convenient "accidents"), together with a media both complacent and complicit (automatic ridicule, condemnation or avoidance): the perfect marriage, the perfect nightmare.

As feared, Sirius was a pretty poorly thrown together mish-mosh that occasionally raised some good questions along with a few good assertions, and then went absolutely nowhere with them- at least during the parts I managed to stay awake. Even the six inch (non alien) body wanted outta this one...

No idea how good, or bad, this is gonna be- Sirius! Production values seem decent, as to content... Hope it's something more substantive than the usual speculative TV production with an "alien body" thrown in for good measure. 

As I've said all too many times before, no one book, movie, or "expert" is going to shake my belief that they are here- a belief that comes neither from blind faith nor some new age longing, but  from the testimony of those scientists and trained observers brave enough to voice their beliefs and opinions based on the scientific evidence they themselves have witnessed, examined and were no longer able to keep to themselves- despite the very real  threat and repercussions to their own careers from corporate science.




 

The Human Arrogance

It goes both ways. There's the arrogance that states that we humans are so unique, the very thought of anything better could only exist in some planetary kingdom so incredibly far away that we will never know of them, or they us- so for all practical purposes, they might as well not exist. That same aura of superiority also extends to our own blue sphere, where only the human species seemingly possesses the intellect for self awareness, emotion and ritual. 

Astronomers and astrophysicists readily admit they cannot account for 90% of the very stuff that constitutes the universe itself, yet still laugh and scoff at the very notion that ancient civilizations with technologies vastly surpassing ours could visit our domain as easily we visit the depths of our ocean floor- or the neighborhood termite mound...

Alien Harvest

This is old news (as far back as the sixties), but it continues to occur to this day. Horses and cows with there anuses, utters, throats and sexual reproductive organs cored out with the utmost surgical precision- and without a drop of blood (or tracks) to be found anywhere in sight! In some, the carcasses have actually made indentations in the ground as if dropped from considerable height. Of course, skeptics will dismiss all the above as the work of predatory animals. Try telling that to experienced ranchers- especially when scavengers will not even go near the remains!

At first many considered it the work of UFOs, since strange lights would be seen in the area(s) around the time of these occurrences. Some thought "cultists," although not one has ever been connected or arrested to any of these instances over the decades. Lately however, more terrestrial causes are being considered and an "experimental sedative" has been found in some of the carcasses. But the question still remains as to exactly who, or what, and even more importantly- why...

So Where's The Video?

For all those who perpetually ask why don't we have an overwhelming plethora of irrefutable photographic evidence documenting UFOs. Shit, show me one (one!) crappy video of these guys moving around- and we've known exactly where they are... for decades!

Science- What An Interesting Concept!

Inspect and study: visual sightings, radar recordings, photographs, videos, ground indentations, trace radiation and military, police, pilot and astronaut reports with... Science! 21st. century science- yuh know, computers and all that. What a novel fucking idea!

The Swamp Gas Clearing*

Both the former spokesman and the former director of Project Bluebook agree that UFO's exist, are real, and that the government has long recognized and acknowledged their existence.

Again, that's not me talking, that's from two of the leading military officers connected with the former US Air Force investigatory commission into UFOs- of which its lead investigator, Dr. Allen Hynek*, eventually proclaimed it a propaganda tool of the US government explicitly created to debunk the UFO phenomena.

* Dr. Hyneck, much to his regret, was the originator of the term "swamp gas" when he was still in UFO denial mode.

National Geographic Chases Its Own A**Hole

This Linda Hamilton look-a-like is supposed to somehow blind you into watching this pathetic program.

I don't have cable, but since everyone knows Nat Geo is a Grade A, serious class act- I just had to see the 2 hr. premiere of Nat Geo Chasing UFO'S last night. Luckily, I had a neighbor who would indulge my enthusiasm. Finally, we would be treated to a high tech, scientific, no bullshit, Nat Geo UFO Investigation Extravaganza!!! Yes, sir- everyone knows... Nat Geo does not fuck around!

I profusely apologized and left before the first hour was up. It was the same, very sad and very tired ghost searching, Bigfoot hunting in the dark and oh so scary woods exploitation formula. What was that? Did you hear that! Whoa! What the f... was that!? Did you see that? 

Yes- I have... A hundred, thousand times before- although never had I seen it from the likes of a supposedly reputable and fact based name brand. And name brand is all it was, and all it served to demean.

One eyewitness showed very clear video of a UFO (yes, that was exactly what it was- an Unidentified Flying Object) he shot from his backyard. Cool! Next stop- video analysis, right!? Certainly, with today's latest computer/digital technology they could at the very least determine if it was doctored- at the very, absolute least! Cut to commercial, and when the Linda Hamilton Terminator impersonator returns, she proclaims that they were instead... "Kickin' it old school" by investigating newspaper accounts in the local library, which in turn leads to an 1891 account of a meteor exploding locally and scattering fragments all over the neighborhood- which they then proceed to look for a hundred years later... at night!

That's right, this 'serious, in depth investigation' didn't even return to perform the most cursory digital examination of said video- and I was supposed to stay for another hour!?!?
