I have no idea what the technology is that so uncannily transcribes photographic portraiture unto
some of the gaudiest tombstones imaginable today. You've probably seen them, they adorn many a modern day gangsta's headstone. Whatever the technology,
these tattoo artists certainly need to incorporate its helpful guiding hand...

You should choose your artist more carefully next time. There are no cheating ways to tattoo it takes skill and talent and that's the way it needs to stay, technology can stay out of art!
Ya thats just crappy shading. if you are getting a portrait dont cheap out go to Kat from LA Ink shes amazing her stuff looks better than the tombstone you have there.
