What is it you like about the image? It's funny how we have "favourites" that other people just don't get. I find that what makes it a favourite generally has nothing to do with the actual image as a whole but either some memory that it evokes or some technical aspect that has grabbed our attention.
Yeah, it's hardly a fave, but it does grab my attention for some unspecified (and perhaps totally personal) reason; the bright pre-summer light, that angular polygon tearing a whole and making its presence within it- who knows? Or as Arbus once said about such photos, "I'm secretly kinky about it."

Don't think anyone has or ever will reconfigure the aesthetics and sociology of (photographic) portraiture to the degree she did...
