God Bless America!

I don't know how good this flick will actually be and/or how long they can keep the joke going, but this dark satire seems as on target as it is off the wall! Could-be-a-classic...

It gets interesting when you start to think about movies as a dialog between Hollywood and its consumers - consider what a movie like this (as opposed to Falling Down) is saying:

"Yes, we know it's horrible - but we made it because we thought you'd like it."

"It's OK if you don't like it - here, watch a Mary Sue burn this effigy to the ground."

"Thank you for your business."

Z- While I have "high hopes" for this flick, it's kinda hard to contrast/condemn/recommend it w/o having seen it...
