In my case, I primarily shoot B&W- and I'm not a particularly big fan of how it can look in digital. It can be massaged into more film like results, and I'm sure it can be done with more ease and regularity given more familiarity and experience. At this point, I just don't know if I want to learn to approximate something I already get "naturally."Stan B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/17381743002180926900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4331321633387292810.post-60740180844968822632015-08-10T05:26:19.429-07:002015-08-10T05:26:19.429-07:00Did you check that they also have presets for Tri-...Did you check that they also have presets for Tri-X, Ilford, Neopan presets ?? I agree with you regarding simplifying things ...

I have a question, (i have shot only 10-15 rolls of film 2 years back. I don't know much) even in film, you have to get the film developed, then scan it to the desired resolution, store it properly... So, don't you think that both digital and film workflow involves more or less the same effort ?

TGVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18428998333212976520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4331321633387292810.post-79752136532517229192015-08-09T10:09:21.388-07:002015-08-09T10:09:21.388-07:00As you well point out, there are a variety of avai...As you well point out, there are a variety of available options. If I was primarily a color photographer, I would be head over heels with this camera. Case closed. Unfortunately, I primarily shoot B&W, and I enjoy and prefer that more organic look.

At this point I am looking to simplify things, and jumping through hoops to replicate that look (instead of just starting with it) is probably why I'm going to sell it...Stan B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/17381743002180926900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4331321633387292810.post-8379745029370692552015-08-09T02:38:09.618-07:002015-08-09T02:38:09.618-07:00Hi Stan,

Most of digital photographers try to emulate film look in particular the grain. Have you tried the VSCO presets which you can use a plugin with Lightroom (http://vsco.co/), it gives a film look to the digital photos !!TGVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18428998333212976520noreply@blogger.com
