I just came to the conclusion straight off that if you put anything anywhere on the net- it can be taken. That said... no doubt posting them on Flickr only makes it easier. For all practical purposes, it primarily serves as my "website" since I only post my keepers (at low res).

And no doubt, I will give it my living, dying all to make whomever's life as miserable as possible should they ever mess with the goods. Far as I'm concerned, if people can do whatever they feel like with your property, I'm more than happy to return the favor in every conceivable way I know how.Stan B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/17381743002180926900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4331321633387292810.post-73767058936457289732011-04-18T16:15:47.956-07:002011-04-18T16:15:47.956-07:00I cancelled my flickr account due to pilfering. T...I cancelled my flickr account due to pilfering. They do nothing to protect your images. Someday you will find one of your flickr images being used in a book or magazine with no acknowledgement and naturally no compensation.

I wonder who REALLY owns flickr? I just found out recently that one company owns eBay, Craigslist, Kijiji and PayPal.

If some media holding company owned flickr or had a majority share then just think of all the images they could scam for their publications.

EricEric Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06559755887257856825noreply@blogger.com
