In your blog post one man was fighting hard for survival. Not just for himself but for his country men, both black and white and all colours inbetween. Although the whites had no clue. The other fought hard to actualize his vision. Did this vision benefit humanity? In some ways yes and in other ways no. We now have scads of people totally disconnected from the world they live in. You see them blindly wandering around with iPods/iPhones plugged into their ears. They bump into light posts, other people and walk in front of buses and trains. Instead of enjoying the sounds of nature or a beautiful sunset they are "plugged in". We are connected to each other but disconnected from ourselves.
