$15! $15!! $15!!!

Although what we really should be fighting for and demanding is a minimum wage that is also a "living wage" this is a good start in the right direction- it would also mean a coupla extra rolls of film in my pocket if and when it gets down here...

hi Stan sometimes I leave bullshit comments i'll try and make up:

It chides me that "liberals" can't make better "louder" arguments; the right has clear talking points "no taxes" etc why can't the right better articulate that the private sector is being subsidized "banks get welfare" etc.

"Still, while employers contend that lifting the minimum wage raises their overall cost of doing business, people earning low wages must rely on some form of welfare to supplement their income and survive, Mr. Tilford said. That means private employers are being subsidized in some form by the government, he said. "

There is no doubt that the Left has to make their message- LOUD, CLEAR & TO THE POINT!!!

That said, it frustrates me to no end how Americans constantly vote and act against their own interests, kicking themselves over and over and over again simply because they've been taught to fear Lefties and that the true blue American Right that has been screwing them since before they were born are on god's side...

It's like the battered women syndrome, almost literally: "they'll" probably make nice and raise it a little the "liberal elites" put a feather in their hats, meanwhile nothing really changes: "This learned depression and passivity makes it difficult for the abused partner to marshal the resources and support system needed to leave." Never mind France has 5-weeks of paid vacation some people get 8 weeks...

Have you ever noticed Europe or particularly France is hardly part of the "average person's" collective conscious.

A true rebellion is in order.

Ironically the power mongers would probably make more money and we would all be better off if education, universal health care, more vacation time never mind more "bank holidays" become realities.

Puritanism's productivity guilt trip ~ it's just too simplistic we are only monkeys after all. Somnething like that: Banana metaphor got away from me;)

P.S. that's why I shoot film;0 fuck work flow digital efficiencies bull shit; the man (woman) peering over your shoulder etc LOL

Yeah, the battered citizen analogy is pretty much on mark.
